Who we are

Big-project discipline, without the big-firm overhead

Blue Chip Advisory Group is a Queensland engineering practice built on a simple idea: clients deserve senior engineering judgement on every job, not just the large ones.

Our story

Built by engineers who have carried the risk

The practice was founded by Nish Palliyaguru after more than two decades delivering and administering major infrastructure contracts for government and tier-one contractors.

That background shapes how we work. We know what a late drawing costs a contractor, what an unclear scope costs a principal, and how quickly a small technical issue becomes a contractual one. So we design for construction, we document decisions, and we give advice that we would be comfortable defending in front of an adjudicator.

Today the practice covers civil and structural design, bridges and culverts, stormwater, contract administration and Superintendent services, project delivery and asset management, from offices in Brisbane, the Gold Coast and North Queensland.
